Telemarkers will gather in Ohakune for the annual Ruapehu Telemark festival on October 17/18. Spring is well and truly here and the snow is softening. Join freeheelers for a weekend of fun.
Due to the current changeable snow conditions the programme is remaining flexible for the weekend. Regardless of skifield operations at Turoa and Whakapapa there will be some telemark activities with ski touring and other fun events on the mountain (weather permitting).

Basic outline of events:
- Friday night BBQ (Ohakune) - Saturday ski events and afternoon ski tour - Telemark dinner (Ohakune) - Sunday free ski.
